Courtney is amazing!!! She did my hair and make up for my wedding 5/20/17. She came to my venue location and listened to my concerns before starting and made sure what I requested was fulfilled! It was me and perfect for my special day!! Thank you Courtney!! Salon pricing was on the more expensive side and my bridesmaids loved their hair from the other stylists but re-did all their makeup. The tour of the salon was great and when I go back to Andrews I would stop in for services there!!

I wrote a really long review initially, but it exceeded the character limit. I came here to get wedding hair, nail, and make-up services for my wedding at Hawkesdene. Beautiful space and friendly staff. Brittany did a great job on my nails with a hand-painted, reverse french gel nails that lasted three weeks. My updo was old-fashioned and was something I could have done for myself. I had actually gotten a similar updo for only $40 from a hometown salon during a friend's wedding, and it felt old-fashioned 8 years ago. My hair started falling down during the reception. My make-up was barely perceptible in photographs, and the MUA should have further training in color matching, make-up for photography, and eyeshadow application before she's ready to do bridal make-up. Basic products, like facial primer and skin highlighter, were not used. My eyeshadow was flat, barely visible, and poorly blended. My eyebrows were a warm brown color against my black mascara, eyeliner, and overall cool coloring. I was hesitant to write this review because everybody was so nice and welcoming, but at the end of the day, I felt obligated to other women like me who are trying to decide what to do for their hair and make-up. If you're a bride thinking about using this salon, I'd recommend against it unless you are able to schedule a trial or have laid-back expectations about your hair and make-up. There are also some minor issues surrounding payment. They charged my credit card for the remaining balance without my permission. I was planning on using a new credit card to pay the balance different because I was trying to get a point bonus, until I realized they had automatically charged my old card without permission when they sent me the final invoice. There is a mandatory 20% gratuity and they originally charged the gratuity on the spa opening fee ($150) that got quickly corrected when I pointed it out. The owner was nice enough to refund the difference between the bridal charge and regular hair/makeup charge and was receptive to my concerns. Like I said before, everybody was very nice and welcoming, and the salon was a great environment to get ready, but brides who are coming from a bigger city or are into make-up/glam/fashion may find that the salon will not meet their expectations.

I love Salon El-Khouri. I use hair, facial, massage, and nail services and each one is exceptional. They are truly professional in every way. They are the best salon I have ever gone to in 60 years.

Got my hair, nails, and make up done here for my wedding at Hawkesdene. One of the girls and the owner are really good, the others aren't bad but are still learning. So it's great if you have a small group but I wouldn't recommend for a really large group. They did a great job despite us getting there 30 minutes late.

I loved everything about my experience of Salon El-Khouri, starting with a great haircut, a wonderful massage/shampoo with hand massage thrown in as a complimentary treat. Everyone was great, professional and friendly.

Everyone else is great, too. Brittany has figured out a way to treat the fingernail that I use instead of a guitar pick, and so far it's holding up well, considering the wear and tear.

And now, a year later, I got probably the best haircut of my life from Rita. People have been telling me I look so different, so young. Some people walk right by and then say, "Is that YOU???" It's crazy what a haircut will do, but once I got really specific and figured out what I wanted, Rita aced it.
